The Minister of Health of Ukraine Maxim Stepanov announced that in Ukraine, 1.565 million cases of coronavirus COVID-19 have already been recorded, the daily increase over March 22 was 11.5 thousand, a sharp jump compared to the day before. At the same time, the increase in hospitalized per day is less than yesterday – 2.5 thousand. The high rate of fatalities per day – 333.

Over the past 24hrs, coronavirus was detected in 11,476 people in Ukraine, 333 deaths were recorded, 8,044 patients recovered, and 2,519 people were hospitalized.

A record number of coronavirus patients died in Ukraine in a day. The previous highest value was set on March 17, when 289 fatalities were recorded.

Laboratories performed 88,673 tests for coronavirus per day : by PCR – 44,647, by ELISA – 21,526. They also performed 22,500 rapid tests for the antigen to the virus. In total, more than 7.7 million PCR tests were conducted in Ukraine.

Over the last 24 hours, the largest number of confirmed cases was registered in Odesa (1122), Kyiv (1050), Lviv (995), Kharkiv (843), and Kyiv (727) oblasts.

During the whole pandemic in Ukraine, 1,565,732 COVID cases were confirmed, 1,268,886 patients recovered.

Volyn region – 225 cases;

Dnipropetrovsk region – 604 cases;

Donetsk region – 270 cases;

Zhytomyr region – 186 cases;

Zaporozhye region – 340 cases;

Ivano-Frankivsk region – 351 cases;

Kyiv region – 727 cases;

Kirovohrad region – 57 cases;

Luhansk region – 147 cases;

Lviv region – 995 cases;

Mykolaiv region – 429 cases;

Odessa region – 1,122 cases;

Poltava region – 697 cases;

Rivne region – 376 cases;

Sumy region – 192 cases;

Ternopil region – 430 cases;

Kharkiv region – 843 cases;

Kherson region – 31 cases;

Khmelnytsky region – 376 cases;

Cherkasy region – 277 cases;

Chernivtsi region – 579 cases;

Chernihiv region – 28 cases.

Data from the temporarily occupied territories of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, Donetsk, Luhansk oblasts, and the city of Sevastopol are missing.
