The average monthly salary of women in the IV quarter of 2020 is UAH 11,558. The salary of women is 81.4% of the salary of men (UAH 14,203).

According to the statistical office, the percentage of women’s salaries to men’s salaries began to grow. Data from previous quarters show that:
in the third quarter of 2020, women’s salaries were UAH 10,409, or 78.0% of men’s salaries (UAH 13,338),
in the second quarter of 2020, UAH 9,740 or 80.1% of men’s salaries (UAH 12,159).
in the first quarter of 2020 UAH 9,785 or 78.7% of men’s salaries (UAH 12,438),
in the IV quarter of 2019 – UAH 9,935 or 78.1% of men’s salaries (UAH 12,718).
The average nominal salary of a full-time employee of enterprises, institutions, and organizations of Ukraine in December 2020 amounted to 14,179 hryvnias. This is 15.6% (UAH 1,915) more than in December last year (UAH 12,264).
Ukraine headed a rating of the countries with the greatest growth of a minimum wage. Analysts at Picodi.com have tracked how the minimum wage has changed in 2021 in several dozen countries around the world and whether this money will be enough to meet the minimum needs.
The study involved 56 countries where there is a government-set minimum wage. In some countries, the minimum wage is not taxable (Philippines, Hong Kong). However, in most countries, the difference between “clean” and “dirty” wages is from a couple to several tens of percent.
During the year, the incomes of Ukrainians increased by 10.1%, given that the average wage is 2.8 times higher than the minimum. As for the world rating, Ukraine ranks 127th in terms of average salary.
Income is significantly affected by the type of activity of Ukrainians. Thus, programmers earn an average of 26.6 thousand hryvnias, which is the highest level of wages. At the same time, doctors receive up to 10 thousand hryvnias, and teachers only 6.5 thousand hryvnias.
Salaries for these two professions are much lower than in Europe.
As for Ukraine, its place in the ranking of EU salaries at number 127 – the average salary here is 194 dollars.
