COVID-19 and the Latest News in Ukraine

The Minister of Health of Ukraine Maxim Stepanov announced that in Ukraine, 1.632 million cases of coronavirus disease COVID-19 have already been recorded, the daily increase, as of March 26, was 17.4 thousand, less than the day before. Hospitalizations per day – 4.7 thousand. The high rate of fatalities per day – 290.

As of 8:00 am on March 27, 17,424 new cases of coronavirus infection were detected in Ukraine. The day before, the coronavirus was confirmed in more than 18,000 citizens.

4,747 people were hospitalized per day; 290 died of complications and 7,124 recovered.

During the entire pandemic in Ukraine, 1,632,131 people became infected, of which 1,297,282 recovered and 31,751 died.

Over the past 24hrs, the largest number of confirmed cases was registered in Lviv (1,407), Odesa (1,282), Kyiv (1,273) Dnipropetrovsk (1,171), oblasts, and the city of Kyiv (1,226).

Quarantine to counter the spread of a new type of coronavirus in Ukraine was introduced on March 12, 2020. Then it was repeatedly continued and transferred to the form of adaptive quarantine in the summer.
